Thank you NYSAER and LICB

I want to extend a warm and happy Thank You to NYSAER and LICB for contributing towards the cost of the bus for April 27 Lobby Day!

Let’s do them proud and FILL THAT BUS!

    Hi all,
    My name is Mike Godino, I am the President of the American Council of the Blind of New York. i am extremely proud of the Long Island Chapter for their willingness to contribute for the bus I will be on that bus to participate in this third lobby day . However, the Long Island Council of the Blind has asked me to make a request for volunteer drivers to the bus. As Public transportation is not running at 5AM, id is important that we find an alternative means to the Embassy Diner in Bethpage: we need your assistance. LICB is made up of people who are blind. given this disability, we do not drive. this is a good thing many of us will proclaim; however, we do wish to participate. Please feel free to contact Mike or Lori to let us know of your willingness and availability to help. We have members throughout Nassau and Suffolk, tell us where you are coming from so that we might attempt to set you up with someone on your way. We need to know to build the numbers, so please help. The address for the Diner is:

    We need to be there by 5:40 AM.
